Default Stud vs. Stud H/L

Which is more profitable, and better to focus on?

I don't play H/L but the fact that so many more people play Stud High leads me to think that if you are good there you will find what you are seeking...

I find it easier to limit losses playing Stud8, but you don't often scoop huge pots like in 7CS. I do think that Stud8 is played to a lesser standard of competence (players make more errors) than the general pool of 7CS players, so that the games are generally "softer," though the win rate is almost certainly going to be higher at 7CS with an equivalently soft game.
