Default Question for pros and bankroll

if you play poker for a living and lets say you decide you want to make $1000 a week as your "salary" How would you approach it. If you feel you can make $1000/wk playing say $10/$20 is this what you should do or should you wait until you had the bankroll for $15/$30 so thaqt you could make that $1000/wk plus make more than that to increase the bankroll each week as well?

If someone was playing $10/$20 for a living and they consistantly made $1000/wk and that was their "nut" or "salary" but they did not make much more than that, in other words made enough to where they played full time but their base bankroll did not increase but remained the same, would this be a recipe for disaster?

I am working towards playing pro although I am not anywhere near it yet But I am interested in what formula I should plan on for when that day does come. For now I am a micro grinder with a dream.
