I hated the pictures in that book. They just seemed like more filler in a book full of filler.

I now know that a trembling bet is a force to be feared, and that's actually important information. But there's no reason it should take 5 pages to explain. I got so frustrated by that blurry picture of a guy betting and a caption that said "See how his hand is barely more blurry than the rest of the photo? That's because he's trembling." Totally unnecessary.

I suppose I can't blame Mike Caro; the book would only be 15 pages if he removed all the subchapter titlepages and full-page illustrations. "Caro's Pamphlet of Tells" just doesn't have the same ring.
