There was no qualifying low hand.

I am JBM70. It was a very lose game, as most low limit games are, so I call with suited ace and some gap connecting cards. Flop comes and I now have 9 outs to my flush so I call the raised pot. RIver comes with Q so I know have increased my outs to 13 with 44 unseen cards. This is about 29%, a little better than 1-4 on my money, so I call 4 to win 48. River comes and I hit the nuts, so I value bet with three callers. Is my thought process correct or did I just get lucky? Thanks.

I bet 3 this turn. I want to cap this will all of this dead money in the pot. You have WSD + NFD. Clearly someone has a set, but who cares? Build a pot because when you do hit you will make a ton of money. The reason for this is because exactly what happened on the river there where they c/c you if you hit your draw or if any draw comes out.. Also, with 2 low cards out you can get the people that are drawing to pay the maximimum for their low draw and add even more dead money.

I don't know about the etiquette posting other players' handles on 2p2 forums is, but since its 1-2 Lo8 I don't think anyone really cares.

Also, you should indiate who you are earlier in the post.

As for the hand, you played it well. You probably even could lead on fourth street. I'm too lazy to do the precise math (that is, use a calculator), but you have enough equity to value bet this field.

Yes, but since I play down there too, it's fun to see the names...

As for your play, I'd consider folding that flop, but based on some of the players at the table (dad & BigO are particularly bad) the flop play is OK.

On the river, you have the 2 most active players behind you. I check and expect one of them to bet. You 'woke up' on the river and potentially scared away an extra bet.

If you had pumped the turn, then lead the river...

Welcome to the wonder that is Low Limit O8!!!

I believe we recently had a discussion about this and decided that identifying other players was OK. I certainly see no problem with it. These games are not held in secret.

3-bet that turn! You have more than 13 outs, if the hand history is correct - any heart gives you the nut flush (but you'll split if it's a low heart). Any A, T, J, or 9 gives you the nut straight. I'll bet a good number of people still in the hand are chasing a low, so you're not getting anything else out of them if the river doesn't complete the low - get the money out of them on the turn.

3 betting the turn is not a horrible idea, checkraising the river is an even better one. It's highly doubtful that you'll have it checked around with all that action.

I could not ever even remotely consider folding the flop tho. If you play a suited ace preflop then isn't the nut flush draw on the flop about the best you could hope for?

Pump it on the turn only if you think you'll get paid off.

And if people are playing QQ77 in O8, signs point to getting paid off.
