Default OMG, I am an idiot! (nc)

Villain is very straightforward. He limps in every pot, value bets/raises with monsters, calls small bets with bottom pairs and A high. It looks like he's a total beginner.

Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $49.50
UTG+1: $42.87
CO: $56.95
Button: $52.50
Hero: $50.19
BB: $47.40

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, CO calls, Button folds, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($2.5, 5 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets $0.5, CO raises to $1, Hero calls, 2 folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: yeah, I know...

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($5.5, 3 players)
Hero bets $6, UTG+1 folds, CO calls.

He minraised on the flop, he never do that without a hand, now he called my turn bet...

River: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($17.5, 2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks.

...he must have a K. My thought: "ok buddy, you have a K, it's a split, lets not make rake bigger."

Results:
Final pot: $17.5
Hero shows Kc 9c
Co mucks

I don't get the turn bet, they can't both have K's, someone is sure to bet this turn. I like a check here.

I don't like seeing the second diamond and bet. What is the benefit of the check - are you looking to C/R?

FLOP, I don't give much respect to a bet and raise that together don't come to the size of the pot. On the flop I put UTG+1 on a small pair 33 or 44 maybe a 5, I put CO on either a five a mid pair or weak king.

TURN, I hit my boat, I'm hoping the 'beginner' has a five and can't stop betting his under boat. I don't want a pocket pair to fold though so I'm not stealing the initiative just yet.

RIVER, I bet for value he can still have a pocket pair, any 5, A5 would be nice , I do not assume this is a split and I think that a 'beginner' may well have a weaker hand he will call a pot sized bet with.

you're not losing much if any value by checking river.
