No reads, it's very early. Earlier I have always limped JJ, but then I was corrected by you guys telling me to raise it up. Maybe it's different in this hand, since I have a terrible position if I get called (is a limp better?). Anyway, how to I proceed on the flop? And what's your plan on the turn (in relation to your flop action). Have I had a bigger stack I would just have fired a 1/2-pot bet here, but betting a third of my stack seems akward? checking to see what they do here, any bet of value will take away almost half your stack and you have to fold to a push.

I have always limped JJ, but then I was corrected by you guys telling me to raise it up. [/ QUOTE ] I would just limp this preflop. with a few people in already and very early i deff just limp. after the flop i just check it to see whats up. Lot of action and i'm out. |

I would raise more preflop. Postflop, I'm checking and proceeding from there.

I sort of misread initially. 270 is fine.
Okay, if I check, and someone bets 300, I would usually call and see a turn. I want to see one more round of action before I commit the chips. You'll almost always know for sure if he has a Q on the turn. He also might have huge balls, but most players will slow down at that point. |
