Foxwoods 5-10 kill
I'm considering moving up from 4-8 to the 5-10 kill game at Foxwoods. Can anyone who frequents that casino tell me approximately how often it's a kill game (meaning the limits go to 10-20)?
Also some general advice about what my bankroll should be before playing the 5-10 kill would be appreciated. Right now it's 3500. Thanks in advance for all help. |

Re: Foxwoods 5-10 kill
The number of kills is hard to say because it depends on the table. Usually when I play early on weekend mornings the kills are not that frequent. But if you play for 8 hours or so you'll get some streaks where you get 10 kill hands in a row. If the table is loose it's real easy to get up to $100 in the pot. If I was forced to give a hard number, I'd say you can expect 35-40% of the pots to be kill pots. If anybody else thinks it's less/more I'd like to hear it.
I'm not sure about your bankroll question. 3500 is certainly enough for one session, but if you're looking to play the game full time with no other source of income then you don't have nearly enough money to account for swings. Maybe you can clarify. Also be wary of people who talk about how "juicy" this game is. A juicy game does not mean you still can't take a beating. A couple months ago I dropped about $800 on one of the juciest 5/10 games I've ever been in. |

Re: Foxwoods 5-10 kill
It's ridiculously table dependent.
Play at night and on the weekend, and you'll get a lot of kill pots. The key thing is recognize KILLS ARE GOOD! It means people are gambooling. If you're at a table with few kills it means the table sucks. |
