Default The pot was short $500 but I found the money

Me and some buddies played a home game about a week ago. At the end of the night the pot was short $500. I found the money today(one week later) wedged bt the lock box and the table(underneath the table). The big winners of the night took the hit..they equally payed out the missing money to other players. In the end they payed about 100 bux each..I lost but still payed 60 bux of my own money.

I am SO disappointed in you, that you even dared post this question.

And this post answers one in HP a while ago- THIS kind of thing is why the banker is responsible for all shortages at the end of the night.

If I played at a game where the host lost $500 from the pot (and he didn't pay it out of his pocket), I would certainly never play there again, no matter how good a friend they were.

Not only did you make your friends pay for your mistake, but now after you find the money and you want to steal it? Are you a poker player or a criminal?

Keep the money! Friends will come and go but $500 will last you forever.

If they truly are your friends they should be worth more than that $500.
