Default Party VIP - new offer probably not April (shocker, huh?)

Not that this surprises anyone...

Email received this morning from vip@partypoker.com:

Dear xxxx,

Thank you for contacting us. We are in the process of putting the final touches to our new VIP offer and we would estimate that details will be sent to our VIP players within the next week.

If we may be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at vip@partypoker.com

We hope that you will continue to enjoy your VIP experience at PartyPoker.com

I was going to reply "how can I CONTINUE to enjoy my VIP experience when I was made a VIP in February but haven't seen let alone 'enjoyed' jack squat in terms of a VIP experience yet?" but decided the sarcasm would be wasted and/or lost in the translation.

For me being made a VIP feels like the Assistant to the Regional Manager title

i was hoping that since they ran the last bonus for 8 weeks straight, they'd have a new bonus ready to go by the time that one ended. no luck.

I asked VIP about what my minimum play for April was to KEEP VIP status.

While they didn't answer the question I asked, they did say this...

"
Thank you for contacting the Customer Care Team.

You are labelled as a VIP player in our database. You will receive an offer on Wednesday coming with the new VIP offer.

I have also been waiting for VIP since February, besides the March Giveaway promo I have played very little since then so I assume there is no minimum play to keep VIP until you have actually received an offer of some kind. Definitely was hoping I would see my offer before now but at least those poor guys with impossible Acceler-8-tor offers got a break. Hopefully whenever my offer shows up it isn't total crap... Default Party VIP inquiries - a never-ending supply of amusement

Well we never know for sure with Party now do we?

I tried 1 more time to get an answer...

To: vip@partypoker.com

Great to hear I'll receive a VIP offer on Wednesday- thanks! One question - is there a minimum amount I need to play in April to KEEP my VIP status for May? Or can I be sure that if I meet the playing criteria in the VIP offer I get on Wednesday I will keep my VIP status for the NEXT offer (whenever that is)?

Party response...

Dear xxx,

Thank you for getting back in touch.

You will need to maintain your playing standard at least the same
level that you acquired to meet VIP standards to keep VIP status. If there
is a significant decrease in the amount that you are playing your
status could be revoked in the future.

For now, your patience is appreciated in expectance of the new VIp
promotion for which you will be included in which we hope to give you
details to next week.

This is fun since no one actually knows what it takes to become a VIP in the first place AND the new offer timing has now gone from "soon" to "within the next week" to "on Wednesday" and now back to "next week (we hope)"

Good times.

If you give a mouse a cookie...

It's unbelievable to me how greedy/jealous/irrational posters get here about party. Particularly microbob.

Party demolishes their competitors (with the exception of wsex which isn't quite yet viable in size) in bonus money given by a gigantic amount. It's not even close. It's not even close.

Yet every day people bitch and moan and bitch and moan. Get over yourselves, seriously.

Customers can bitch and moan all they want. Get over yourselves? I take it you're not a business owner?

I don't owe Party a damn thing, but if I feel they owe me something here's a newslfash bub: THEY DO.

If you've ever worked retail, you'd know that the customer is almost always wrong.
