3rd hand, villain had been involved in the two preceding hands.
First game: he miniraised pf and flop and took the pot down with a bet after his opponent check the turn. Second game: he called pf and minibet the flop after it was checked to him, called a minibet on the turn and folded the river. Would it be a better line to check-call the flop, and then leading out on the turn? Given the way I played it I think I have to fold the river. Your thoughts? |

This early, I think flat calling his pf raise is the way to go here, rather than reraising and playing AK out of position in a bloated pot.
As played, your river fold is fine. |

Raise with AK is fine, but flat calling makes playing this hand easier. And if you raise please make it at least 240.

You took your shot on the flop, he isn't drawing on anything, the turn bet is begging for a call. Just lay your hand down there. It is way to early to play these marginal situations with no pair.
As for PF raise, I would probably do it too, it is just too bad he has a PP. |
