I would 3b the flop to get some more info, he could have A8, 99-jj or diamonds.

I'd fold, most of the time. If I had a read on SB, I might find some ways to call this if I think he is rather crazy.

fold. you call the flop mini c/r to see if hes on draw/air whatever. On turn, it looks like he isnt. If he's regularly doing this while behind here, you have a new buddy.

The check-minraise is usually villain not knowing how to get more money in, so he lets you bet and then sucks you in with a minraise, where you're given good odds to keep playing.
On a board like this it's almost always a set, at worst this is QQ+ I think. Unless you know this guy to be super-tricky where he can rep a donk move like this with any two, fold. If you had JJ/QQ, I'd say even fold on the flop, but KK is a bit too good of a hand to lay down to that. If the guy was on tilt and you knew he was an ATM, then I'll make a crying call. Since this is 5-handed, he may be overvaluing an overpair here, but it's unlikely. Also I don't see what a 3-bet does. If he 4-bets it's now an easy fold, but villain may not always 4-bet with a set. He might call and then bet the turn, you still don't know where he's at. If he overvalues an overpair, he may 4-bet it, so you still can't be certain. Call the flop and look for a cheap showdown. Call bet under $20 on the turn and fold to the river bet. If he checks turn, call a bet under $20 if board blanks. |

well in this spot I folded and villian showed his QQ. Looking back I think I like the way D warrior says to play here.

in these situaions i find the times im behind with aa kk are few and far between so i lean towards calling except v a few select players. the times i call and lose are far far far outnumbered by the times i call and win. i think 2+2 ssnl undervalues aa/kk a lot and u guys give villians way too much credit.

I think this is a very very easy call.
If he really does have a set, he's an absolute moran. I call all day, and I'm very rarely behind |
