Default Welcome to 600NL, DJ. have a pair+gutshot! (NL600-6max)

On other computer, no GT+ or anything, so no reads.
This flop looks pretty nice to me. The question is, whats our course of action here? Are we content to bet-3bet it, or do we check intending to C/R, or do we just check and see what happens? (I'll post more of the hand soon, I realize that a lot can happen in a 5way pot so its probably not cut and dried)

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

BB ($543)
UTG ($452)
MP ($784)
CO ($565.47)
Button ($647)
Hero ($749.40)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $3.
UTG raises to $17, 1 fold, CO calls $17, Button calls $17, Hero (poster) calls $14, BB calls $11.

Flop: ($85) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)

Also, I apologize to all of the 600 regulars for all of the fish i'm going to be eating. ha ha.

is check/folding out of the option? you have 4 outs to the nuts, your 6 outs aren't pretty, and your kicker sucks if you hit a 7. add to that theres like 50 people in the pot, and its gonna be a big pot. i dont like the idea of putting any more money in unimproved

edit: nope, your gutshut isn't even to the nuts.

Alright, I realize that this post sucks without some flop action, so here it is.

Down to 3 people now, BB most likely isnt a factor (but should be considered) and the preflop raiser fired a c-bet that could be overcards or overpair or something else entirely. chances are, we have 9 clean outs if we're behind (776664444). your move?

c/f most likely here. This a hand that looks better than it is. You think, "I have top pair and a straight draw. But you draw is to 4 outs and there may be some clown with 89.

More realistically, your hand is second, maybe third best here and your oop.

I would lead the flop for about 3/4 the pot here just like if i had flopped a set or straight

HAHHAHAH, nits... Bro he has a pair+GS combo, which is way worse on this board than an OESD. He can so easily be drawing to dirty outs everywhere. This is not a big draw at all, its worse than a regular old up and down, u think the guy is getting stacked with JJ when the 4 hits the turn? BWAH!
