FR, WTF: AKo calldown
Villian was 22/14/3 after another irrelevant sample, I've yet to showdown a hand or put any real pressure on anyone.
I'm more interested in the flop/turn than the river. Re: FR, WTF: AKo calldown
This flop line is fine, but i'd prefer to bet-fold the turn instead of calling off your stack (and potentially giving a free card to the flush draw)

Re: FR, WTF: AKo calldown
This looks like over-playing TPTK for all your chips when 1-pair usually isn't good in a big pot. But exactly where can you get away from it? I'm not sure.
Maybe lead the turn and fold to another raise? By the time you get to the river with only $160 left and a pot of $490, you're pretty much pot-committed. So if you're going to get away it has to be on the turn. So, I guess lead the turn for 1/2 pot and fold to another raise. |

Re: FR, WTF: AKo calldown
The river call was never a question imo.
The flop raise and turn line were my main concerns, with a solid read the flop could easily be a fold. On the turn I wasn't sure if bet/fold or c/c was better, it seems the consensus is b/f. Meaningless results, I call down and beat AQo. |

Re: FR, WTF: AKo calldown
Please get your money in on the turn, leaving that much behind is not acceptable. Either fold to the turn bet, or push it in when it gets back to you. I like open pushing the turn though.
Edit: oh and raise more preflop for sure, to something over 30. |

Betting the turn makes life easier. i'm curious, if you bet the turn and are called, check fold the river? i pretty much know that is the right line since a TAG player will check behind the river with one pair, but I sometimes don't do a good enough job convincing myself of that. |
