Dragon Quest VIII

I think I am addicted... I got this game last Monday, and I have already logged 37 hours playing it.

Anyone else playing this game?

It reminds me of the Legend of Zelda Series, I have never played Dragon Quest I - VII.

It is interrupting my time that I play "Go Fish"

I have never been a RPGer but this game kicks ass!

When you finish playing this, I suggest you get started on all the Final Fantasies, Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross, and the rest of the Dragon Warriors. When you're done with all of those I have plenty more games for you to play as a new-found RPGaddict.

Dragon Quest I-IV were actually Dragon Warrior I-IV in the US. They're awesome RPGs (the first RPG I ever played was DWI). Dragon Quest V - VII never came out here.

I can't wait to get my PS2 for x-mas (yes, I don't have one yet) so I can get this game.

Is it anywhere near World of Warcraft? I just dont see any point in playing other video games with WoW around.

hahah Yea I'm sure we did I wasn't sure if it was you or not or even on this forum, but I remember.

I just bought a new PS2 on eBay, when it gets here, I may jump between College Hoops 2K6 and Dragon Warrior.

WoW is gay. It is gay compared to real MMORPGS, or any RPG for that matter.

Ive gone through dragon warrior 1 through 4 for NES back in the day and they are really fun. Dragon warrior 4 is extremely good. Dragon quest 8 is even better. I just got the boat and im having muchos fun sailing around hoping not to encounter groups of 6 hades griffins (which are actually progammed intelligently in that they will all focus on jessica who has the lowest def and hp)
