Default \"Brown trout\", \"sup bro\"?? Will somebody explain it?

I tried to search for this answer, but I couldn't find an explanation.

I am confused about the way you are supposed to ask someone at a table if they are a 2+2er. Is sup bro the greeting and brown trout the response? Are they both greetings? How is it supposed to work? I can just see myself getting punched in the face by some dude screaming, "Who's the brown trout now?!?!"

Can someone give me an example the proper way to use "sup bro" & "brown trout" please?

Sup bro?

LOL. Tough crowd. I usually throw out a "sup bro" when I sit down if I know anyone at the table. Then again, I play with a gew 2+2'ers, some who know that e/o is, some do not. I like the sly smiles I get when I encounter a 2+2'er that didn't know I was one

i dunno what the obsession is with people wanting to signal other 2p2ers that they read 2p2 as well. this is the last thing i want when i play, and when people alert me that they are on 2p2 i enjoy the information.

PS- if you're in a $6-11 sng and you see someone playing every hand, talking trash, and saying SUP BRO like crazy, its probably me.

You can ask "Sup Bro?" or "Do you have a brown trout in the closet?". You could also ask "Have you every played at Poo Mountain?"
