I guess I would play this the same way.....it's hard to imagine him playing this way with anything you beat.......Do many villians cap JJ UTG????? Could he be going wild since it's heads-up and has AK????

looks fine to me. flop 3 bet is a worry and that turn 8 sucks but Im just not prepared to fold on overpair here HU to an unknown. On a good day you spike a J on the river and take it down.

FWIW I would often play JJ this way from UTG as even on that flop JJ is still an overpair and the turn would make me giggle [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I'd fold on the turn. I'd give the villian credit for not being a maniac, and the only thing he could be capping preflop that we have beaten is AK. Anything else and we have between 2-6 outs. Even 6 outs (vs. KK/AA/TT) doesn't give us the correct odds to call, and based on the action, I don't think he has AK enough here to warrant a call.

Ahh, misread in the calc, had the 7.666 and the 8.75 mixed up. In that case I think it's a call. We have 6 outs against everything but JJ, and have AK beaten.
