Arby\'s Drive Thru (Trip Report)
Today I did something totally manly. I cussed out the Arby's Drive thru box.
So I'm going through the drive thru and I get up to the box when the worker comes through with his nails across the chalkboard, I'm going through puberty , but I still have to act like a badass voice. You know the type, you hear them/see them every day, and it pisses me off to start with. So here we go, I get up to the box. Arby's Worker: Welcome to Arby's, order when you're ready. Me: Just a second please. Me: OK, let me get a number 12 with no to- Arby's Worker: What kind of fries and drink? Me: [iritated at being interrupted]Dr. Pepper and Curly fries. Let me get the sandwich with no tomat- Arby's Worker: [slow, condescending tone] What kind of FRIEEES AND DRIIIINK Me: [speechless that this man can act this way and keep his job] [censored] YOU, you piece of [censored]. Don't take that tone with me you [censored]. Me: *drive off* So there I am, a grown, 22 year old man screaming at drive thru box manned by a highschool kid, then driving away before he could retaliate. I rule. So hard.
