Can I Find Enough Good Longhand Games Anymore?

I want to try to grind out an income this summer playing 1/2 NL. I am more comfortable playing longhand games, but I've noticed that the 6-max games are played more than 6:1 versus longhand games on most sites.

Will I be able to grind out decent money playing longhand, or will I be forced to play shorthand if I want any action?

During peak hours (evenings EST), there ought to be enough full ring games to satisfy you. If you have to play daytime hours, you might have trouble finding enough (good) tables (I don't know how many you play at once).

Just play short handed you nit.

It's easy to hide behind your cards in full ring.

he said he wanted to grind. grinding in nl is hiding behind holecards, nothing wrong with that.

i bet i could make more 6-8 tabling 1/2 nl 'hiding behind my hole cards' than i am now 3-4 tabling SH.

but i suck!

I'm currently kinda in the same boat...should I 3 tbl 6 max 200NL or 4/5 table 200NL full rings?? I am currently playing 6 max tables and making a fair profit but it is a lot more swingy than full rings...what to do

Theres plenty of good FR 1/2 games on various networks, especially at night. I used to grind them for a nice winrate. However, 6max will make you a better player, and you can achieve the same winrate with 1/2 the tables. And you can move up and still have good games.

So switch to 6max.
