Too Tricky with AQ?
2nd hand at the table, no reads.
Party 2/4, 10-handed Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 folds, Villain raises, 4 folds, Hero calls, BB folds. Flop (5SB): 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain checks. Turn (2.5BB): K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, Villain bets, Hero raises, Villain calls. River (6.5BB): K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero bets, Villain raises, Hero folds. I felt like I should have just let this hand go. Any thoughts? |

Re: Too Tricky with AQ?
Pre-flop is table dependent for the call.
I'd fold the turn. But, I don't see the value in betting the river. |

Re: Too Tricky with AQ?
I think so. The default play by a typical 2/4 player in this situation is probably to call down. I'd need a read that villain is capable of laying down an underpair here.
