Default 2 quickies

First hand:

I have AK in LP and no useful read other than Villain is a regular but prolly not a winner in game. I should have a tight image with moderate aggression. Villain open-limps in UTG+2. I make it $88. Villain calls, HU to flop.

Flop 9,5,5 rainbow, he checks, I bet $145, Villain calls. Turn is 2, check, I bet $400, Villain calls. River 5, check, I push for an effective $1300.

Second hand:

Villain is 20/0 over 100 hands and has 1300, Villain min-raises in MP, folded to me in BB with KK, I make it 140. Villain min-raises, I call.

Flop comes Qxx, I check fold to $350.

first hand: I wouldn't make this move without a decent read that he's not a retard. If he's not it looks good because i really don't see how he can have a very strong hand.

second hand: I would do the same vs. that villian

Really? Against this player/action and this board, seems pretty standard.

You think a guy with those stats and a propensity to minraise bets 3/4 pot with top set? I doubt it. I CR allin here.

Who said anything about top set? The Q just made it an easier decision in my mind.
