Re: BOOM SHAKALAKA HES ON FIRE
Bad to okay how? Without reads I'm not sure I like it, it looks alot like something I would do and then regret.

Re: BOOM SHAKALAKA HES ON FIRE
Well QQ/JJ probably fold. AA/KK call. Hes bad so also throw in a couple random hands. I like it.

Re: BOOM SHAKALAKA HES ON FIRE
5-handed and out of position, isn't he almost always going to raise back preflop rather than cold-call the reraise with AA/KK?
Any read on villian's raising range UTG? Is he raising middle pairs? The flop check-call just seems odd to me here. Raggy, rainbow board, no straight draws unless he has 45 or something. AT doesn't check-call here, especially if you only have 690 left behind right? Seems like a middle pair, 88-QQ? So he probably lays down those hands minus TT obviously? |

Re: BOOM SHAKALAKA HES ON FIRE
even if hes bad, is he gonna lay down any 88-QQ to a pot sized all in at this point? and isnt it possible he was fishing with A K if hes THAT bad? i like it if you know you can get this guy to lay down but as played im not sure i fire again. youre the one with the read though....

Re: BOOM SHAKALAKA HES ON FIRE
yves,
while "no read no bluff" is a misnomer, i like my 'blind' bluffs to be in better spots than this, a la missed powerdraw or something where my line looks exactly like a set or something. so to me this bluff is very meh without knowing more than he is "ok". |

[/ QUOTE ] actually I'm thinking about this more and have decided in my sleepless stupor that your line does in fact look like TT-AA, so your bluff is better than "meh". |
