Default Up Againt a TAG and a LAG

Button is a TAG but may be a little weak-tight. SB is very LAG and on the verge of being a maniac; he may also be on semi-tilt.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP with 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB caps</font>, BB calls, Hero calls, Button calls.

Flop: (16 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (8 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, BB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, Button folds, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (14 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 16 BB

I think it's okay, but not the best play. Do you really think Button is folding a better hand? His check on the flop seems to indicate that he didn't hit (overcards maybe?), so if you had just called, he would probably fold anyways, or if he called, he's probably only holding 3 outs. And if he raised, you could get lost... The only hands that don't fit that pattern would be the 88-TT, in which case raising is better. Otherwise, calling gets you a cheaper showdown.

it looks like you have button reverse dominated here so I really don't mind if he comes along on the turn especially since I'm not that confident that we are even ahead of the maniac here (thus I call).

It's HU on the turn and the board is essentially drawless. I'd rather call down. Not particularly concerned about the guy OTB.

I also thought about that. Button likely has either AK, AQ or KQ so it is not a disaster to let him see the river for 1 bet. Still, it seemed like the pot was big enough to warrant trying to protect my hand with a raise. I think it is close.

While I don't like getting three-bet by the LAG here I have to call down against this guy.

LAG had 45o and MHIG.
