Default Dual Processors and WPEX

I dont know how many people were/are experiencing connection issues on WPEX. If you are, and you got a dual core machine, try setting the affinity for the process(WPEX.exe or WPEX.exe*32) to a single cpu. At least for me it solved my disconnection issues (in addition to just running faster). Hope this helps someone. You're talking Dual core AMD (not Intel) right?

And, if so, how you like it? Do you really almost never get an hourglass come up? (even under heavy multi-tasking?)

Yes dual core AMD. I am only running it with 2GB at the moment but it is very fast. Most things run smoothly but it does create some problems. (Thunderbird has the same problem with dual core machines and you have to set it to run on 1 cpu).

There's a pretty interesting test on Dual processors
over at tomshardware. The top AMD is over a $1000 so
I'm thinking that I can wait on that one.
