Default value bet the river with a set of tens?

no reads. subject says it all. the river completed a bunch of draws, and i have no idea what to put the villain on. its my second hand at this table. do i value bet the river? how much?

I check, he could easily be expecting you to bet again here. If he were leading the action on the turn and now checked, I'd be more inclinced to value bet, but there's not a lot that you beat that can call you here, and a real danger that he is expecting to be able to checkraise.

I say go for it. I'm not sure what he'll call with, but give him the opportunity.

Good point, I didn't even look at that. I still don't think we can bet it though, I don't really see what we beat, and I can easily see someone thinking "aha, I can check/raise OR check/call for all my chips! How can I lose!"
