Default Live 2/5 foxwoods hand

Games is live @ Foxwoods $2/5 NL 500-max buyin
I just sat down with 450. Most players are ranging from 700-1000, with a couple short stacks and one guy who has about $2.5-3K.
About an orbit or two go by and I just sense that table is pretty standard play. Took down one uncontested pot.

Hero Stack is around 500
Villain is about 2.5-3K (the deep stack)
Hero picks up AKo.
Everyone folds to Hero who is MP2 and he makes it 4xBB. Two hands ago I've seen him raise KJc 4xBB. CO and Button Call, I call, BB calls

Flop (pot $100)

K J 4 rainbow

Hero leads out for $50, BB folds, Villain raises to $150, folds around to Hero who calls.

Turn (pot $400)

8

Hero Checks, Villain moves all-in, Hero is looking at around a $300 call (2.3 :1 odds here)

Comments on my play? Better Lines? What to do??

I can't see KK here really, cuz of flop reraise, villain seemed solid not really bully-type, wats he rr me with?

EASY fold for me

he pushes on a brick turn...next time 3-bet the flop to really see where you're at, calling gets you nowhere on that flop

KJ or 44 here most of the time

bet more like 75 on flop

any read on this big stack? I guess he plays agressively but do you think he's raising a draw or KQ on this flop? Your beat looks very weak so he could possibly be raising QT but I doubt he is looking to build a big pot with KQ unless hes a donk (possible).

I'm a nit and I fold flop to his small raise.

Have you ever played live 2/5? You will get run over if you routinely fold AK to a raise on the flop. TPTK and overpairs are pretty close to the nuts.

Oh okay I see what happened - instead of your line, how's about c/c flop, lead turn? I think I call this all-in bet on the turn - AK is often re-raised pre-flop in 2/5 live, and he has no idea you're that strong. It's close, though - I think you'll see AA and KJ here a good portion of the time. 44 is unlikely, IMO.

I think youre right i could've saved myself this decision by reraising the flop to thin the field...

You really think KJ? I just cant say I use that line for two pair, esp when i get my flop raise called.

Can this be QQ?

He has no reads on me so i don't think he is reraising str8 draw, esp with no flush potential.

I seriously think a 3-bet here not only defines your hand but more importantly lets you know where your at...

you can fold to a push, and can be very suspect to a call

and to OP, B&M TPTK is usually not the nuts

how the hell do you 3bet fold to push here with these stack sizes? are you out of your mind? hero has like 450. not 3k.

my mistake, I misread OP as I thought it was a raise to $100, not $150...where a min-3bet isn't out of the question
