Default UnderFull - How many river bets?

This was real early in my session, first orbit or two. Villian seemed kinda LAGGY, he'd done more than his fair share of raising PF.

Crypto $3/6, 6max

Hero is Button with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

PREFLOP
1 fold, MP Raises , 1 fold, Hero 3bets , 2 folds, MP calls

FLOP: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

MP checks, I bet, MP calls

TURN: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

MP checks, I bet, MP calls

RIVER: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
MP checks, I bet, MP Raises, I 3-bet, MP 4-bets...

At this point I think he probably plays A9, K9, and TJ like this. Maybe TT (I would expect this to raise the flop). 99, 77, 88, and 66 are possible as well.

I'm ahead of far more combos than I'm behind (1x99, 3x88). Pop 1 more and call a 6th? Just call the 4th? To the Felt?

I'll go one more and call the sixth. he could easily be screwing up an overpair for the first three bets, and could just as easly be screwing up a rivered straight with the next few.

I'd raise one more too and call the sixth. Why waste bets, it is possible villain is slowplaying 99.

My thoughts as well.

BTW, I love the crypto "no limit on heads up betting" (though not here)

You're behind 98,97,and 96 as well.

I would just call the 4bet, but this is a situation i don't like that much.

his first raise means he has two pair/trips/quads or he's a moron. His 4-bet means A9/boat/quads/big moron. His 6bet means overfull/quads/braindead. 6bet is really bad for us.

so lets examine his 4bet. his ahead / behind ranges are A9x8/66x3 = 11 vs 88x3/97x2/98x6/96x6/99x1 = 18. You can count on him 6betting nines full or better which is mostly all of them, so we're not even close to being good enough to five bet, IMO, not even worth it if we fold to the 6bet (lol) or completely discount 96.

3bet is good, call the 4bet. you are probably beat.

edit: geez I didn't even see the straights, oops. his 4bet could definitely be a multitude of straights, so yell "ONE TIME" and call the 6bet.
