Default UFC 59 Odds are up - My bets in here:

Just made them at open on Pinny:

Arlovski - 400 over Sylvia. WOW is that line off...

Also took Hughes - 380 at UFC60 over Gracie (cool how they listed it now...). Also, WAY off (even more than the AA fight, I think...).

Too bad the minimums open so low...

I was surprised a bit that Tito was -400, so I laid off.

thanks for posting.

its running away. I got in at -410, its already run through -422 to -430.

I've just about got my picks wrapped, should have them posted sometime tonight to take advantage of the opening lines. Nothing else jumps out as something that will have to be locked ASAP.

I think you're right about the Hughes fight being way off, but the other direction. I'll be strongly on the other side of that one - but will obviously be waiting, as I think most of the money will move on hughes, I hope to be able to hit +450 on Royce.

I think Sherk is worth locking in now. He started at -110 and is at -122 now. I wouldn't be surprised if that line keeps moving to the -170 range.

WOW... AA is -358 now. What in the heck is going on out there!?!?!

I honestly thought it would be -475 by now...

I think Sherk by Dec is a pretty easy call. I would agree on locking him up soon.

Sunofabeach, where did you find AA at -305? That is a steal. Anyone know what the AA/Silvia fight odds opened at Sportsbook? Just Curious

sherk should be an easy bet, but diaz was built to triangle him, plus he is overdue.

i think sherk will win, but not enough to put money on it.

Default monson v pdp

Im stacking up on Monson.

1) Monson hasnt lost an MMA fight since 2002. Seriously. Plus he constantly f*cks sh!t up sideways at international grappling events.

2) PDP is being*grossly* overvalued due to his win over a literally crippled Mir.

3) Monson and PDP met once before. The rules of the fight included the clause; no using a can-opener as a submission, you can only use it to pass guard. Monson was trying to get out of half guard and used a can-opener style grip on PDP's head to work his way up. PDP *tapped*, and Monson was instantly DQ'd. Thats not beef, thats steak.

I honestly believe that Monson is being offered this fight as an inducement to fight AA soon, because literally no one else in the UFC can even begin to carry AA's jockstrap right now.

There is one other story I want to share about Monson. Its a rumor Ive heard from many different people.

The story goes, Monson once showed up at the Red Devil Fightclub in Russia, and demands Fedor fight him for his Pride belt.

Fedor tells him to fight his brother, Aleks, an accomplished Sambo monster only slightly less skilled than Fedor. Monson choked out Aleks within 2 minutes, and Fedor politely refused to fight him.

Monson by KO in the first 90 seconds.
