AA preflop question
$10-20 NL full game. Everyone has 5K and everyone limps. You're in the big blind with AA. And your play is?

Re: AA preflop question
I think a huge raise is important, for sure.
Raising over all of these limpers pretty much announces the strength of your hand, and you're going to be OOP. There's already 10BBs in the pot, which we wouldn't mind just taking down, and we don't want to give much in the way of implied odds. $450-$500 sounds about right. |

Re: AA preflop question
250bb, I check this. Raising stiff and getting one unprofitable call from a villain behind can result in a couple more very profitable calls from sensing players in LP.
Also I am just uncomfortable playing AA threeway OOP in a bloated pot when I have narrowed my range of holdings from preflop (unless of course I am capable of popping it up preflop with something like 66 or QTs). |
