hoyt Corkins @ Foxwoods
any of you catch him getting owned saturday night in the big NL game at Foxwoods. I heard he went through 3 buyins rather quickly and also Bill Gazes was beating up on him.
I was playing 2 tables down, was too engrossed in my own game. |

Re: hoyt Corkins @ Foxwoods
Yeah, I was playing on the next table. It was kinda annoying how a huge crowd gathered whenever there was an all in pot. I heard someone say he was on the losing end of AAA vs KKK in a >$100k pot. How accurate that is, I don't know.

when i was playing with him 25/50 NL on Friday he was well up for the night [/ QUOTE ] bogey, Which seat were you in that game? I was the big dude w/ the beard in the four seat. Hoyt was actually *by far* the tightest player at the table in the 25-50 game on fri, he never made it out of the must move into the main game on sat. I did see him lose his stack w/ J4 (BB) on an A44 flop v. A4 when I was checking out the must move lineup. He was also involved in a fun hand on fri where a couple people limped, including Hoyt in the CO, to see a flop of 772r. Checked around to Hoyt, who overbets the pot slightly, sb calls, bb minraises and then flips over a seven (both blinds were FW regs and the bb didn't realize Hoyt was still in the hand, otherwise he obv. never would have done this). Hoyt quickly raises another 1K sb folds, bb agonizes forever and folds, whereupon sb says that he folded T7. Hoyt had 22 of course, he didn't show, but another player and I were cajoling him a bit with stuff like, "Show the bluff, Hoyt, good for the game," or "Lots of fans here, sure they'd love to see a bluff, Hoyt," but he didn't show sheeeeeeiiit. Anyways, he was a really nice guy, and played a very tight, solid game. |

I remember talking to you for awhile. I was in the 2 seat I think. I didn't come down until after 2 or so and was kind of drunk. |
