Default Jeopardy

Both opponents were TAGs and had not gotten out of line.

30/60 9-handed, I raise X [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] X [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG+1. UTG+2 3-bets, MP caps, we both call.

Flop 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I bet out, UTG+2 raises, MP 3 bets, I fold.

X is a pair. What is the highest value of X that I should fold here?

jacks seem like an easy fold. queens I could definitely see but I'd wanna at least peel to the turn w/ the Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

what's the lowest value of X you should have been raising with UTG in a 30-60 game?

In retrospect, I hate how I set up the original post, since anything <=JJ is a clear fold, and obviously KK+ you're still playing.

I had the ladies here ... what do we do with them?

If neither get out of line, I think you have a fold. It would be quite a parlay if neither had KK or AA based on the pre and postflop action. If one was a nutjob, it would be a different story...I think it's a fold b/c it's likely to get capped behind you. There's just too many ways you're [censored]. Though I'm guessing you posted this b/c one had the other QQ or JJ or overplayed tens and the other had AsKs and you woulda won. Doesn't matter - you will have to put in tons of bets and most of the time will be drawing to two outs.

lol, exactly. I did fold the queens here and felt pretty good about it, and of course it turned out to the best hand.

i wouldn't be too upset about folding there. i agree that it's super borderline. can you run a sim of some sort, assuming the first guy can have 88+ or AKs and the second guy JJ+ or AKs?
