Default 5/5 Live hand. Top two being bullied on the turn.

Game is 5/5 500 NL. I got about 500 and Villain covers by a lot. Villain is pretty tight and reasonable and I haven't seen him out of line.

On to the hand. Villain limps UTG, a bunch of people limp, and I call on the button with Qh9h.

Flop is Qc9c3s

Checked around to me and I bet the pot (30). One call.

Turn is 8s. Pot is 90. I bet 70. Villain checkraises to 200. I sit and do nothing for about two minutes. Villain doesn't make eye contact. I....?

The game appears to be loose-passive... so utg could have limped in with TJ... but I think he most likely has a set of 3's. I like a fold here.

2 minutes? What were you thinking about during that time... villain certainly isn't limping with 9 3. Every hand that I can think of that will call the flop and c/r the turn has you beat unless it's a very weirdly played AA, KK (which, btw, I'm not putting in his range). Fold.

you throw your chair back, walk right over to the son of a b*tch, grab his neck and turn his head towards you. you look deep into his soul. you say "look at me when i'm giving you the stare down, assh*le!"

oh yeah sometime in the process, muck your cards.

The longer you do nothing, the easier it is for Villain to figure out exactly what you've got.

Looks like a fold. Turn checkraises are a sign of huge strength and the obvious draw just got there. The hands you beat are very unlikely to be limped from up front.

Fold, unless you have a strong feeling that you will spike a Q or 9 on the river when you can call, because otherwise the implied odds arent there. And if you do that and dont hit the river, fold.

I only think you beat an awful limped Q8 here. Sure looks like nuts or maybe 33.
Fold

This is what I was going for

I folded because I was playing well and it sure looked like JT. He flipped over 3c4c and I was very surprised.

You should have started talking to villain.... If his speech was muddled and nonsensical, a bluff/semi bluff would have been more likely.
