Party 20/40, 9 handed
I've recently started using Poker Tracker, and this was the first time i had tried out the "game time" display. I get black 99 in the small blind. UTG raises. A tight player (11 VPIP in my small PT database, though that jibed with what i thought of him) makes it three bets, and an extremely loose but somehow good (VPIP 55, but knew what he was doing post flop) cold-called after a couple folders. Folded to me, i call, bb folds, UTG calls. 4 players, 13 sb. Flop is 478 with two spades. Checked to our 3-bettor who bets, 3-limper raises. My move? |

after all that action I think we can safely fold. Not sure the bdsd and set draw are enough to continue, espeically when it could cost you more than just those two bets to see the turn.

need better reads here.... I may very well raise here depending on agression #'s... it may also very well be a fold.... cold calling is the only thing I can rule out w/out a better read... this could very easily be A8 and a flush draw, etc, etc

Sounds like a preflop fold to me. 99 out of position against a raise and a 3-bet can't be in tremendous shape.

I thought about the preflop fold, but couldn't do it cause of the loose limper...he could have had just about anything, so even if i'm behind preflop 40 percent of the time, i still felt like it was a call.
On the flop, I did fold, but I think the 3 bet is a good option...with it, i find out if either the original raiser (UTG) or the tighty (UTG+1) really like their hands. If they cap it, i need to improve. If its HU with me and loosey, even if he caps it, i think i'm seein the showdown. thanks guys, Dan |
