Heads up in Stars turbo 15+1
Sorry that I'm too much of an OOTiot to know how to use the hand converter. (I tried.)
PokerStars Hold'em No Limit - Level VIII (200/400) 9-max Seat #7 is the button Seat 1: Me (6900 in chips) Seat 7: Him (6600 in chips) Me: posts the ante 25 Him: posts the ante 25 Him: posts small blind 200 Me: posts big blind 400 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Me [8h 5d] Him: calls 200 Me: checks *** FLOP *** [9s Jh 7c] Me: checks Him: bets 400 Me: raises 1200 to 1600 Him: raises 4575 to 6175 and is all-in Now what? In the last 10 hands or so, I've been pushing a lot, and have had to show down some pretty crappy cards. How bad was my play so far in this hand and what's my play now? If I fold, I'll have something like 12BB against his 23BB. If I call, I'll have at least the 8 outs that fill my double gutter as well as probably a few runner-runner trips or two pairs (although he might have some of those beat already). Is this an easy play that I'm just missing? |

Why not just call flop? You're not really deep enough to be pulling semi-bluffs unless you're just going to push.

Personally I bet 600 on the flop to try and take it down there. Pretty much folding to any raise, you only have 8 outs and 8-high. And still not in desperately bad shape at all.
As played, fold to his push. |
