Found a telus blackberry on the ground, what now?

I don't know who's it is and finding out and giving it back is out of the question for various reasons. I know nothing about anything, is it possible for me to re-activate this beast under my own account?? How much would it cost?? Do I have to be worried about serial numbers and what not?? please. my old phone, it is garbage it has these red blinking lights on the side and I can't shut them off this would make for a good upgrade.

Well, you really should give it back if possible. Are your "various reasons" something like "Too bad, I found it and its mine now," or do you actually have some valid reason for not being able to return it?

just post a piece of paper w/ your phone # on it where you found it that says:

"electronic gadget found, call: xxx-xxxx"

if no-one calls for one week then keep it. if someone calls, have them tell you what gadget it is, and a maybe a number or two off of it...

i don't know if you can call blackberry and ask them if the serial number's been registered...

did you just steal it?

We had a large party last night(150ish people) and a bunch of guys showed up who tried to be tough and a big drunken brawl broke out on the front lawn...afterwards I found it on the ground and nobody I know owns a blackberry so the process of elimination places the phone in the hands of a douchebag.
