Default Second nut straight against 3-bet from super passive.

Villain is a super passive, rarely leads a pot, check/calls mostly. 38/2/.59 at 130 hands.

Uncalled bets: $6.5 returned to UTG.

Results:
Final pot: $9

I'm interested in turn/river play here. Please don't say fold pf, normally I'd raise this in the cutoff. I had a reason for limping here but I don't remember what it was.

In regards to villain, this is the first time I've ever seen him bet/3bet. Anyone call this thinking its something other than KT ?

I thought of this as well. I know I'm really only afraid of one hand here, KT, but I couldn't see him making this play with anything other than the nuts given his past action.

He took a bit of time to think before raising. Additionally, the only other time he had raised a pot, he showed down a boat. Seemed like he'd only raise with the nuts.

I'm probably laying down the best hand here some of the time, but I went with my gut after playing with this guy for a couple hours.

thirteen,

preflop is OK, but I prefer a raise. You said you had a reason, so fair enough.

I'm not folding on this river, b/c I think he has 2pair/set often enough, but then again, I wasn't at the table. This is one of those hands where we can't tell you what to do, b/c if folding is anywhere near an option, then it is soley based on time at table with villain, and we weren't there

you can't fold the second nuts on this board - as everyone else has said, KT is the only hand that beats you. For you to put him specifically on this hand is weak-tight play.

Certainly is, but I was due for a weak tight fold since I'm generally over aggressive. Against someone other than villain I push. Occasionally I act on a read for better or worse. Can't really justify the fold based on anything other than feel. A majority of the hands I played at this table were played against villain. He kept taking money off others and I kept taking it off him. This was the only hand he seemed willing to stack off against me and I folded. Probably pissed away $50 but I felt good about it .
