i resigned, here\'s the short story (new thread)
user freaks out about somebody mentioning something about them. i think this is bs, because it is well-known and often discussed right in front of them without incident. a ton of moderator time was wasted on this non-issue. i exiled them from oot for pretending it was a serious violation of privacy when it was just a personal vendetta against the person that said it. a clear abuse of the moderation system.
an exile shouldn't be a big deal because the user barely posts in oot, but they refused to post at all on 2+2 out of protest. mat and mason ask if i plan to lift the exile, i say no and explain why. i don't think they would have noticed or cared if this person hadn't gone on a hunger strike. mason decided to lift it anyway, so i resigned. i can't stay someplace that gives deference to the wrong side if they cry loud enough. thanks to everyone who supported me during my tenure.

How bout you get out all of the mod-on-mod criticism you've had bottled up since you went green...it would be cathartic and possibly train-wreck inducing [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Are you thinking of the episode where Jerry dates the deaf girl? Maybe that's where I first heard the "weddings and Bar Mitzvahs" line, I'm not sure.

can I go on hunger strike until I get to fill your shoes? - LOL - since that seems to be a tactic that works to manuiplate?
I hate meddlers who put a stop to hunger strikes. RB
