Erik is a strong player, although he has told me he is relatively new (i'm guessing compared to how much limit experience he has - definitely not a novice though) at big NL cash games. We have been playing heads up for about an hour, I made one suckout in a big pot (2p vs straight) and since then i feel he has been playing a bit more loose and aggressive.
A hand very similar to this came up about 40 hands earlier - I called on the flop without much of a hand, i bet on the turn and he moved all in after thinking for about 10 seconds, then i folded. Here is the HH - please let me know what you think! EDIT: I should note, I am raising about 65-70% of hands PF and he is reraising from the BB maybe 10-15% of the time. Thanks, TC Erik123 is at seat 5 with $17393. Green Plastic is at seat 6 with $17338.50. The button is at seat 6. Green Plastic posts the small blind of $50. Erik123 posts the big blind of $100. Erik123: -- -- Green Plastic: Jd Jh Pre-flop: Green Plastic raises to $300. Erik123 re-raises to $900. Green Plastic calls. Flop (board: Td 7c 5d): Erik123 bets $1800. Green Plastic calls. Turn (board: Td 7c 5d 7s): Erik123 checks. Green Plastic - ???? |

The strength of your hand is very well disguised. I would bet the pot here, if you check behind a lot of cards hurt you/kill your action.

I don't mind a check behind here. There are a bunch of draws out there but what worse hand do you think will keep calling if you make a decent size bet here?

it's definitely a bet. that board is drawy enough and in your range enough for me to think AA-QQ would feel the need to bet there. it looks a lot more like tens full or nothing than it does a big pair - or even a seven.
whether you call a push or not is too dependedent on everything that has occurred during the session for us to know - but i would certainly lean towards calling. |

as deep as you are I would check behind.
Less deep and I would not mind playing for stacks. the fact that you can put his hand in op 10-15% and that includes a lot of pairs that crush you makes me like a check even more. |

Do you have any idea what he thinks of you?
about how often has he been reraising preflop (% of the time or w/e)? Have u called any flops where he r/rd pre, and c/fd turn? |

Interesting to see respected posters disagreeing on this one.
I think it's a bet, you have FE and you're ahead of plenty of the hands that he check/pushes. |
