LIMCASH: newbie question about when button is BB
i have played a fair amount of heads up but always with the button being the SB.
my quesion is, when the button is the BB who has the higher excepted value? i guess a good way of phrasing it is, if two absolutely identical players played heads up but one player was always the button/BB and the other was always the SB who would end up making money in the long run? also, assume you are a 2.00BB/100 winner against a player heads in this format. how would the winrate be split between the two positions? would you likely be +EV from both positions? its seems like you would likely only be making money from one position and would be a slight loser in the other |

Re: LIMCASH: newbie question about when button is BB
The button always has higher EV.
I think the winrate will be ~ identical in either structure. Since any hand is getting odds to call a half of a bet, to make that call OOP preflop is even worse. |
