2.other

Anarchism and objective morality appeals to me because I think it is true. Obviously when something is true, it will result in benefits, it's not an either/or question. Either violence is good and works or it isn't and doesn't.

4.other

I got into Libertarianism through The Hellbound Alleee internet radio show. I got into Anarchism through Stefan Molyneux's podcasts (took only a few hours). http://www.freedomainradio.com/

Anarchist, consequentialist beliefs, rule utilitarianism, other.

(Aren't options 2 and 3 just about the same thing?)

I "got into libertarianism" relatively slowly. I suppose I was always pretty libertarian in a sense, even in grade school I had a very "live and let live" mentality and would get into arguments with teachers about all kinds of things. I got into socialist thinking when I was young, and that turned into anarchism when I was in my late teens.

I was leaning toward anarcho-syndicalism and trying to figure out how it would work, and I eventually came to the conclusion that the market would be the best way to maintain equilibrium. I didn't recognize it as "the market" at the time, on the contrary, I considered it an anticapitalist economic model. Then I realized that it was actually capitalism.
