While naysayers might feel that the show isnt what it used to be and all that, I am pretty confident that given the circumstances, the creators/writers will step up and deliver some HIGH comedy. I'm officially giddy.

I predict that the movie will suck, still earn a ton of money, then nobody will watch the next 2 seasons and Fox will let the show die.

Some things are just better on free TV than on a big screen after you paid nine bucks. I imagine this will be one of those things.

South Park was pretty good at the theater. I don't think the Simpsons will be, though, that show blew its load a long time ago.

You know, soon its going to be fashionable to like the Simpsons again. I am already ahead of the curve.

I wish MS Word had the simpsons font.

Its not that people don't like it anymore, its that people don't like what the show has evolved into. Everbody still and always has liked the first 6 or 7 seasons. The show that is airing now, is a very different show.

I still like it, but as is to be expected, it has run through all its ideas and is on kind of thin ice a lot. At least they got a bit away from their Broadway infatuation where they were turning so many shows into lame musicals. It's still the only show I somewhat regularly watch on network t.v.. Regardless that it's not what it once was, it's still better than most stuff on t.v. by far.

some of the recent episodes have their moments. the show can still crack me up at times, which is more than I can say about the vast majority of television.

I heard that they are ending the show, and this movie is the last big bang. This plot has probably been discussed in meetings for years and it should deliver the goods. They want to top south park's movie...
