Arizona is a more-conservative-than-liberal state, so a Republican, especially an incumbent, has a good shot of being elected. As far the poker issue goes, let's face it: 98% of American doesn't care that much, or at least isn't adamantly in favor of it being legal online. As such, people are voting or not voting for him for other reasons, and it is rather simple-minded to decry their choice because of one issue that most people have no reason to care about.
