Default Would calling be an option here?

This hand is from stars 3+R 20K

Villan just got move to the table, so no read on him.

He's raise screams 99-QQ. I was thinking about re-raising him 120K, but i figured I was gonna be pot commited anyway so I pushed. Would calling be an option here?

The pot odds were < 1.5-1 and he insta-call.

Calling is a reasonable option, but I like moving in more. His raise does seem to imply that he is scared, and you might as well try and scare him off.

I like calling or raising to 90K so it's 60 back to him.

push. you are gonna be committed if you put anything more, you want to see all five cards, there is a chance that he is playing AQ or something, and possible FE.

No reason to play 1/6 of your stack to see three cards

Calling isn't the worst thing here, but I think most people would tell you push. Re-raise makes no sense to me here. That would make it an all-in situation anyway. I like to call to see the flop and give myself a chance to not only hit my cards, but a shot at outplaying my oppenent post flop.

Calling's definitely an option. I think the state of the tournament matters here a lot. What's the average stack and how many are left?

I'm with all other: It's either flatcalling or betting the lot. I don't mind either.

But I have to add, that I'm deeply impressed by your ability to put him on a hand even though you have no reads!

"His raise screams 99-QQ"

Huh? Not AQ? Not 88? Not AJs? No cowboys?

How did you manage to put him on such a narrow range?
