Default NHL, Toronto\'s Darcy Tucker is a \"Joke\"

so said Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff after Tucker took a run at Jochen Hecht with a knee to knee hit. Story Here Tucker also took a dive twice in this game. Hecht was hurt on the play and will be out for 2 weeks.

A couple weeks ago Tucker attempted the same knee hit against Alexie Kovalev. NHL said that they will not suspend Tucker. Should NHL give out suspensions for cheap hits like this?

I want to wring that [censored]'s neck. I haven't been this angry at someone since Brett Hull scored that goal. If they don't suspend him, expect some good old-fashioned hockey when Buffalo plays them again on Easter Sunday. Lindy was PISSSSED. And so was I. How can suspend a guy 2 games for an accidental high stick then not suspend a guy who was intentionally going for someone's head.

Ridiculous.

Someone in this league should finally give this what guy what he has coming to him for the past 10 years.

He will be a hero in the sport and should be granted immunity from any physical contact for the rest of his career throughout the NHL.

NHL lets players get away with murder. The league should bring the hammer down on this type of behavior, at the very least suspend him.

If they don't fine or suspend him, the NHL is basically letting the Sabres to go ahead and Bertuzzi him.

Did any of you see the game? Hecht moved at the last minute & stuck out his leg. Yeah, Tucker shouldn't have gone after him. Dummy shouldn't have stuck his leg out either. And the hit by Greir was retaliation for an earlier hit by Tucker.

This is the first time I've ever seen somebody sustain a "serious" knee injury & stay standing.

Go [censored] figure. HE WENT FOR HIS [censored] HEAD!

And that hit was clean as it gets. Tucker is just a whining punk, he goes for the smaller guy.
