Default standard defense? T7o

i haven't seen much of villian. over about 30 hands he's a 60/30 with an att. to steal of 50%. but again, only 30 hands, so he could quite easily be a 21/15 whose been running hot.

I think T7o isn't good enough to defend with here. I don't play 5/10, but only 30 hands with att to steal of 50% means very little, so I would fold PF.

This is pretty reasonable. I could see calling a non-A river.

cool. just checking up. i think i call any non A or K river. is folding to a K river bad here?

as for playing T7o
i have been way too tight in my blind defense in the past, but realize that to be successful at higher limits, i really need to improve this aspect of my game, as i think i am just straight up giving up too much in my blinds. so i figured before i moved up, i would push myself to defend too much, so when i find the right balance, i can tighten up a bit and feel really comfortable. i also think that most* of the time, it ends up being the right play

You've got about 36% equity pf against the top 50% of hands. You're still about a 42-58 dog against the top 75% of all hands. You're OOP. So I'd dump it preflop.

I'd play exactly the same, and probably call river to find out how maniacal the guy is. T7 is certainly worth a defense when the guy is 60/30 + 50ATT.
