Default NL100 AA facing heat on flop

This post reminded me of a hand that I played yesterday.

Villain is quite reasonable pre-flop. Post-flop he's biggest leak is total lack of pot control. I hope this is an easy decision for the most of you, I did something stupid instead..

Prima Poker skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1.00
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $123.11
Hero: $210.65
Button: $81.50
SB: $97.50
BB: $39.53

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls, Hero raises to $4, Button calls, 2 folds, UTG calls.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($13.5, 3 players)
UTG bets $8, Hero calls...

P.S. Strange pre-flop, my standard is 4BB + 1BB / limper.

preflop i dont mind, its 5 handed 4x is goot.

you cant ask for much better flop than that one..
if he has 88 hes not betting here or a 7...

you have position... You can call here and let him catch up. Depending on how worried you are that he may have a set or something...

if hes just coming out betting, he probably has a decent hand.. (i wouldnt really say 2/3 pot is heat)

personally i'd probably raise the flop bet to about 20.. Get some action outta hands 99-KK when their drawing thin.

Does anyone like a min-raise here? It often gets rid of total bluffers so that helps, but might not give enough information since it may not always get rid of 99-KK.

I think I raise to 25 here and probably call if he pushes. I really doubt he has anything that can beat you right now. If he has KK-TT your gona get paid off nicely if he calls the raise. Now if he calls your raise and pushes the turn I might consider folding but will probably call still since I'm a post flop calling station.

I may call the flop and pop it on the turn.

I'm not too worried about draws.

Hmm... Maybe it's the language barrier, but do you mean pot it on the turn? What if villain bets close to pot on the turn after your call?

pop it means "raise it up" on the turn.

I am very confident to be ahead here.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I'm only familiar with the saying "I'm gonna pop your cherry" which isn't so widely used on this forum.

I call here too. Here is another good post about AA on these types of flops:
AA easy on the flop...

Aren't anyone the slightest worried about the guy left to act behind you? If you just call he's given great odds to call. I would raise it up to ~20. If the guy behind you calls your raise, I proceed carefully from there on.
