Default (4.40 PS MTT) Qs10s bubble situation

Villain is a solid player, when he bet I put him on AJ or 88,99 - giving me the best hand. My question is I'm 3 positions from getting paid, I know this is 4,40$ tournament - but I say to myself after... if this was the WSOP can I lay this hand down? I'm not really good at calculating odds, but if he's 66% chance of holding trips, what are the odds of him pairing the board or hitting quads to beat me in the long haul? Thanks.

OP,

If you're going to fold, fold your easily dominated hand to a raise preflop, rather than folding after you've flopped the nuts.

i was joking..heres the deal..i dont like the way u played this hand at all. PF: fold to the raise. on the flop: reraise less. all ur money is in on the flop..and u are asking if u can fold. u have the nuts!! never be afraid of finishing on the bubble, if u play like that, u shouldnt be playing tournaments.

and now that u edited the post, il reply to ur question. if he has trips he has 7 outs on the flop and 10 on the turn. u have like a 65% chance to win the hand

I lay this down at the WSOP, I need a bigger edge to risk my tourney life

Nobody confuse the guy. Folding here's really dumb. I'm sorry you lost. Please stop playing if you can't handle busting with the best hand in an MTT.

Also, either raise or fold the first time it gets to you preflop and fold the second time.

Okay, I didn't say I couldn't handle it, it was more to see what other people thought... kinda new to this so forgive my ignorance.

Maybe I'm missing something here. Why would you ever fold this. What kind of an edge would you need to play?
