Default Best gadget for $500-600

So I've got a bunch of referrals at a site that gives out free stuff. They have a few items available, but neither are interesting me for the number of referrals I have. So I've got about 500-600 in value for a gadget to order.

I don't know what to get.

I have an iPod.
I don't want a portable XM radio.
I like stuff that looks good.
I am open to suggestions for portable media players, if they are any good.

Possibilities right now are a Roomba and a xbox 360 (assuming they are available online now).

OOT, give me your best.

Freakin

just for contrast, I have one and absolutely love it. I think it depends a lot on your floor type and house layout.

My friend got an Xbox 360 a few weeks ago. Three days later we were playing on the old N64..Don't bother. At least, the stuff out on it now isn't worthwhile.

wtf is a roomba

how recent is it? I hear the new ones with scheduling are actually worth the money. They get around the rooms well enough and avoid obstacles.
