Default A speeding decent LAG (PL$200 Party)

Villain (according to PT) is a decent winner at PL$400, I don't have many hands on him at PL$200. Been at a couple of his tables tonight and

1) He's raising quite a few hands, seemingly not bothered about position.

2) The hands that he has shown down have been decent enough, marginal to be raising with from the blinds/EP maybe.

3) His post flop aggression also usually has a reason behind it, some kind of a draw, or blockers to the current nuts. I've seen him bluff once with air but that was against a short stack.

4) He is steaming slightly, he has mentioned several times that he's been on the losing side of set-over-set so far tonight.

Hero ??

I was hoping that with my quick calls on the flop and turn that he'd slow down, especially when a hand like QJT9 get's there on the end. But no, he pots every street.

Call or fold the river? I thought for the max time before deciding.

Also is anyone getting slightly garbled emails when they request hand historys from Party? Using gmail.

I would have perferred a reraise on the flop or at least the turn. If the villain is able to lay down his marginal hands to pressure then this is a good time to find out if he has a marginal hand or the goods.

Letting it go to the river can only make things worse for you if he actually has a draw on the flop. If he's known to bet large with just two pair then I would probably call his bet on the river.

if you think you had the best hand, money should have went in before river..
therwise you should have folded

Turn is either a repot allin or fold. Calling accomplishes nothing. I assume after you called the turn that you were willing to go broke on a safe river , so why let him get there with a draw like 10 j Q with the diamonds. As played, I fold the river pretty quickly. I don't think you see anything but AA or 10 J here almost ever.

I agree with everyone that should show strength on the flop, and will add that in addition to getting more informatin on the Villain's hand, it will be a lot cheaper, potentially. If he does indeed have AA, it is unlikely he would just call, putting you on a straight or flush draw. If he has 55 or a draw himself, he might fold for you.

Also, re: Gmail. If you are a table and hit send HH to email, then all emails after the 2nd one seem to get threaded and then garbled. What I do is have gmail open, and immediately process the email, i.e. cut and paste to an new email with a title for that hand, or add some notes, and resend to myself or save as a draft. Delete the email before sending yourself another one.

Thanks for the replies. I probably did play it quite badly, at the time I thought that a raise by me on the flop or turn would get villain to fold alot of worse hands, he's tilting but not stupid. I was also hoping he'd slow down on the river so I could get to a cheaper showdown.

Results: I call the river bet after a long think and Villain shows 9976 for a decent draw on the turn.

Villain continues to drop $600 in a short period, unfortunately none to me.

Yeah, raise him on the flop. If he shows strength you can fold, knowing that you are either a big underdog or are in a coinflip.

When you all say "show strength on the flop", do you do this by min-raising, half-pot raising, or pot-raising?

At a B&M I show strength on the flop by flexing and growling.
