I'm the first one to say call. But so much of your equity relies on a favourable flop and you have such good relative position if the flop is favourable that I see no reason to raise.

My 2c.

I usually just call with hands here like 88-TT, AJs, AQs (sometimes JJ depending on how tight the initial raiser is) unless I think a cap is needed to fold out hands behind me.

1. I like to see if the initial raiser thinks he has a capping hand.
2. It's easier to let go if the flop sucks without losing image points. (capping and then folding just seems weak)
3. It disguises the strength of my hand
4. You dont open yourself up to flop checkraises on the near mandatory c-bet

Not saying its correct, just what I have been doing lately. I'd like to hear more arguments for capping. Not pushing youre possible preflop edge, not folding out overcards behind you and the loss of folding equity that capping gives you are the big cons of this preflop plan.

Easy fold IMO, with that much action preflop you might as well be holding pocket 2's; you're almost certainly going to need a set to beat this. Even if UTG and MPG have AK/AQ you're not going to be able to discern this from KK/QQ with a good TAG player in there making continuation bets, so best case scenario you're paying tons of money to get to showdown, praying no paint falls, and you still only might have the best hand. Just this newb's opinion though.

i actually think the blinds are a little important in this. If blinds suck, I think it's a peel, then we'll essentially be getting 4:1 for the bets going in which should be enough.

Winning TAG is not enough info. Whats his isolating range here? AK-JJ? AJ? 66? If the worst hand he's 3 betting is AK, probably muck. If he's an isoraising machine, probably cap.

My first idea was to fold than i think a little bit and decide to raise, sometimes we will get the UTG out, and we will have the possition advantage, if the raiser is 3beting with PP we can win the pot immediately if the flop comes something like AQx and if he is betting high card we can still beat him easily with rag board.
That is what was going through my mind.
Any comments very wellcome.
