Default why do they prohibit \"no-cap\" when heads up?

i always wondered why online sites do not allow a "no-capping" rule to the raising limits when you are heads up. I wish they had it. I rivered a straight flush while my opponent rivered his full house. We went to war, but just for 4 bets. He was a crazy maniac and I could have made a tonne of cash.

you can have unlimited raising heads-up on Crypto network and Boss/IPN, but most of the other sites only allow 4 bets max per street.

I think it has a lot to do with keeping players from running out of money and collecting more rake in the long run.

My thoughts exactly. Fish would dump their whole stacks to people when they make their ace high flush on a paired board.

The weirdest thing in all of online poker may be the six-bet HU cap at UB.

I'm all for letting people keep raising.

Some of it might have to do with the software being horrible.

if people are smart and only go over 20 bets with the nuts, you'll have a lot of split pots.
